Taylor has been an associate attorney at Glisson Law since 2017 and is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Missouri. Taylor was raised in Freeburg, Illinois and attended Southwestern Illinois College in Belleville and Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts, with a major in English Literature and a minor in Pre-Law. Taylor then moved on to the Southern Illinois University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate, graduating cum laude with a specialization in Health Law and Policy. While in school, he was a member of the SIU School of Law Domestic Violence Legal Clinic where he acquired more than 230 hours of pro bono legal work. Prior to being hired at Glisson Law, Taylor worked as a clerk for Freeark, Harvey & Mendillo, P.C. He has conducted hundreds of depositions, has tried numerous jury trials, bench trials, and arbitrations to verdict, as both first and second chair, and has extensive experience negotiating matters to favorable resolution at mediation and otherwise.
Taylor currently lives in Belleville, Illinois, and in his free time he enjoys building and playing guitars, exercising, and spending time with his wife, daughter, cats, and dog.
