2011 Case Over Miranda Cosgrove, iCarly star’s, Tour Bus Accident in Vandalia, IL

Miranda Cosgrove, ‘iCarly’ star, was traveling through Vandalia, IL in 2011 during her “Dancing Crazy Summer Tour” when her tour bus struck an overturned tractor trailer on the highway.

There were five people on her tour bus at the time of the accident. Miranda Cosgrove suffered a broken ankle. Miranda’s mother, one of the five, was also injured in the accident. There were two drivers who had stopped to help the driver in the semi cab before the bus hit. They too were hurt in the accident. That being said, no one was severely injured.

Miranda Cosgrove was traveling after finishing her performance in Kettering, Ohio and was making her way to her next show which was to take place in Wichita, Kansas. However, due to the accident the star had to postpone the remainder of the tour.

Cosgrove who also starred on ‘Drake and Josh’ and ‘School of Rock’ tweeted after the accident. She addressed her fans with, “Thank u so much for all your messages. They mean so much to me. Yesterday was extremely scary & I’m just so happy everyone’s gonna be okay.”

This accident had many consequences on the lives of those involved in the accident and those involved in the nationwide tour.
