Glisson Law Launches 2026 With Commitment to Ongoing Charity Giving

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Alton, IL – January, 2026) As 2026 begins, Glisson Law is proud to announce a significant contribution to a Donor Advised Fund, reinforcing the firm’s long-term commitment to supporting local and national nonprofit organizations. Through this fund, Glisson Law will make monthly charitable contributions, ensuring sustained and meaningful community support for years to come.

A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a philanthropic vehicle that allows charitable contributions to be distributed thoughtfully and sustainably over an extended period. Rather than one-time donations, a DAF enables ongoing support for any nonprofit of choice, helping organizations plan ahead and continue their important work with greater stability and impact.

“Our mission is to create meaningful, lasting change by supporting causes that strengthen communities and improve lives,” said Michael Glisson, Senior Partner at Glisson Law. “This fund ensures our charitable efforts remain consistent, intentional, and long-term.”

Glisson Law’s first monthly donation of 2026 was to 5A’s Animal Shelter (Alton Area Animal Aid Association). The organization was selected by the firm’s office team, reflecting a collaborative approach to philanthropy and a shared commitment to causes that matter locally. Additional monthly donations to community organizations and nonprofit causes are planned throughout the year.

Committed to transparency and community involvement, Glisson Law will provide ongoing updates about its charitable giving through the firm’s social media channels and, in the months ahead, on its website. These updates will showcase the organizations supported, the impact of each contribution, and opportunities for community engagement. The firm will also provide a way for local nonprofits and community members to share suggestions for future partnerships through the website. By establishing this Donor Advised Fund, Glisson Law is committing to long-term community involvement and an open, ongoing dialogue with the communities it serves.

“As we move forward in 2026, we look forward to continuing to invest in the nonprofit organizations that make our communities stronger,” added Tim Chartrand, Partner. “This is a commitment not just for this year, but for the years ahead.”
